Working with Colorado Wood Utilization and Marketing Program, IBE co-hosted an educational evening at the USGBC-CO Chapter Meeting in April 2006. These posters were developed to inform audiences about the need to reconnect buildings with the challenges of sustainable forest management here in the Southern Rockies. The current epidemic of Mountain Pine Beetle, the continuing need for fire mitigation and ecological restoration, and the advances in woody biomass for heating were among the topics addressed.
