Our involvement in a design charrette led to a proposal for a new Environmental Learning Center in Fort Collins. This charrette was later published by the American Institute of Architects in the Environmental Design Charrette Workbook. IBE was one of nine institutions featured in the publication.

What is a charrette?
A charrette is a workshop that brings together the efforts of various disciplines and backgrounds (from designers to architects, engineers, constructors, and other community members) to envision and schematically design local building projects with environmental and sustainable alternatives in mind.
